I'm a 16 yr old who just got an 89' iroc camaro,however, It has the current z-28 mail slot exhaust tips. Its really nice but i would like to get a more free flowing cat back system..if i get the same diameter exhaust do you think i could weld the same tips back on with out a problem. I am asking this because I am very new to fabbing stuff. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible. Thanx.

 

Many of the 'cat-back' systems are a waste, IMO. Just get a nice free-flowing muffler (do a search). Any muffler shop worth a damn can take the muffler and install it with your existing tips. Then take the $$ you save on the exhaust and upgrade in other areas.
