Corvette Seats?

Any chances on Corvette Seats (at least, front seats) fitting in my IROC? I have to replace my driver's side seat to pass inspection (apparently I broke it, lol), and I wanted leather, but there isnt anything on ebay in the moment in the right color as far as camaro seats go, so I was wondering if I could try for vette ones.

I'm 99% sure they'll work. The reason you never see them is they are like 7 bazillion dollars. every time I've checked at least. Good luck!

i dont see how they wouldnt fit.....as long as they have the tracks you can always drill new holes and if they dont have tracks you can always just end up bolting them into one spot (just make sure ya get the right spot the first time )

Try your local Vette Junk Yard Most of vettes do not head to normal junk yard they have their own specialized ones.
If you cant find one call a Local Corvette Performance place They can tell you where to find them at.

Vette seats will work but you need to do some shimming with washers between the seat track from your seat and the vette seat bottom. I had a set of 86 vette seats installed for a short time in a 87 IROC and they worked fine but you must use your Camaro seat track and then once you mount them you'll have to loosely install the seat in the car and see how many washers you need to fit your driving comfort.

Thanks a lot guys, you've all been quite helpful

Hopefully, I'll just manage to get some Camaro seats, but at least now I have a backup plan.

Who ever said I wasnt looking at those? Heck, I've been primarily looking through those, as they're MUCH easier to come by than 3rd gen seats.

4th gen seats are easy enough to come by on EBAY and not as expensive as Corvette ones. Mine are great in 84Z28.
