cooling
how hot is hot, I know 86/87/88s and maybe others ran infamously in the 225 range, that's the temp they were supposed to run at, you also have to look at where you live, it may be warmer or more humid and cause an increase in temperature, I know my problem when i was overheating was the cooling fan not turning on early enough or not at all, so I repalced the fan, unfortunately, I replace the fan about every 2 years now, but the price to pay to stay cool, I also eventually went to a becool radiator and an edelbrock high flow water pump and now I reach 225 on my hottest days and 175/180 on most days.
try the JET fan switch to turn your fans on lower.
have you tried anything like "water wetter" which is supposed to lower the cooling nature of water?
oh and make sure you have your air dam under the car's nose...to make sure enough air is going over the radiator

Now she dont move much beyon 100 Degrees.
Check your AC condenser to see if the fins are bent. That disrupts air flow and could cause a problem with cooling. Also, check that the spaces between the radiator and condenser are not blocked with debris. Flushed coolant lately? Also check for radiator cap pop off pressure.
