Post Cold Air or Runners???

Which one would I get the best gain from? Which should I do first?

On a Firebird/Trans AM I'd go with an SLP cold air kit first. It's got a pretty restrictive intake system compared to a Camaro. That's why they're always rated 5-10 HP less than the same engine in a Camaro.

I agree. The runners are really restrictive on the 350 motors because when the original TPI setup was made it was for the 305 motor, therefore you can understand the airflow restriction on those motors, it wont give as much of an increase on a 305. You will still see an increase granted but I believe the CAI will make you smile a little bigger.

Runners first. Another vote!

And actually you could make your own cold air intake using PVC and an off the shelf K&N Filter. It would be a LOT cheaper. Paint it however you like and if you take your time it will probably look better than an aftermarket piece. 3" or 3.5", maybe 4" PVC would be awesome. Goodluck man!
