Question Coil...No Spark???

Just got my engine together and tried to fire it today. But it just cranks, over and over. Checked the coil and no sparks when we touch it with a metal object. Anyways, it's brand new we even put the stock one on there and it didnt spark. It has the two wires that connect together, one that runs from the plenum and the other that comes from somewhere else, and then the spark plug wire for the distributor. Any body have any ideas,

What optispark? not an LT1

control module in distributor or problem with your wiring would be my guess.

Ignition control module, I think its about a 15 dollar part and real simple to replace. I'd definitely check your wiring and if all is well its the ICM. I've seen them go bad many of times.

Re: Coil...No Spark???

So the ign. control mod. would determine whether the coil would spark?
