Code 54 back and better than ever.

Hey guys, for those of you who know, I got a 86 Z28 last week, and had some problems with it running, but figured I could fix it. I know I'll get it fixed here eventually, but here's what the deal is as of now. I had the car running great, however a code 54 has come back to haunt me and when this code is present the car runs like total crap. Fuel pressure also stays at nothing when this code is present. When this code doesn't show up, the car starts up and runs good. According to the fuel pressure gauge, I have 40 psi when the car actually is getting fule, and it increases to around 45 when giving heavy throttle. I shut the car down, and the pressure doesnt drop under 30 psi. Now, I have replaced my fuel pump relay, fixed 4 grounds on the back of the right hand cylinder head, but to now avail. I also checked the TPS voltage, and replaced the tps just to be safe. I adjusted it as well at .54 volts no throttle and 4.5 volts or so at WOT. One thing is that I have yet to hear the fuel pump prime in this car when I first cycle the key. Also, even with the new relay, sometimes it won't energize for the 2 seconds it should when i turn the key to the run position. I was about to drive it home today, cause it was running good in the shop, and not throwing a code, but as i left, i got on the gas pretty good, and it cut out, started sputtering, and ran like crap again. Check engine light and all. Please help! Please don't tell me it's the fuel pump!!! LOL. Oh btw, the car keeps good oil pressure, and will stay running after i unplug the relay, idicating the oil pressure switch works, right?

Oh yeah let me add this bit of useful info. The tan/white wire that is the power coming out of the relay does not light up with a test light. I imagine this wire is causing the problem. This is the signal wire for the ECM right? Maybe my ECM took a dump?
