cleaning

what do you guys use to clean your engine compartment.
i have the engine removed and would like to degrease it.
what do you recommend

I have not personally done this, but I imagine you could use like a power washer, maybe, like i said I haven't personally done this, but it may work, its what I was considering using

Go buy a few cans of brake clean. Spray the whle thing down liberally then wash it with soap & water.

Lightbulb

Use the castol degreaser with some of the dishwashing metal/copper scrubbers. Use the Castorl degreaser in a 80/20 mixture (80% castrol) and use latex gloves. Try it without gloves and you'll understand why------hard core degreaser. Careful not to get something wet that will later give you a pain in the neck!
