I have a 1992 Z28 5.7 L L98engine and the service engine light comes on.I by passed the check engine light and it flashes 3 times pause 2 flashes.Can anybody tell me what this means.

A code 32 would be as follows http://www.tradervar.com/GM_Codes.htm 32 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor circuit failure
OR Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve diagnostic switch - closed during engine startup or open when EGR flow requested by ECM
OR EGR / EVRV (Electronic Vacuum Regulator Valve)

 

for 1992 code 32 is for EGR. BARO would probably fall under MAP codes 33 or 34 since the MAP sensor is used for initial BARO reading. MAF systems use an actual BARO sensor.
