Cheap speed

Cheap speed
I need a little help. With my current setup, the car runs a 14.93 @ 91.5 mph. I've got a 3.73 disc brake posi rear going in it soon. Once I get that in, whats the cheapest way I can get into the low/mid 13's?
The engine internals are completely stock, except for the .040-.060 bore that the remanufacturer did. Can I get away with 13's without swapping/modding my heads?
I wanna show my camaro buddies up this summer, but I've got a budget.
Thanks
EDIT: without N20!!!

Re: Cheap speed
you could really bump the horsepower up if your running a stock cam, and you switch to a bit more of a cam...
another thing would be maybe a higher stall converter (2800)..
maybe pocket port your heads yourself, you could squeek a few more from that...
all depends how much money and how much motivation you have...

Re: Cheap speed
The cam is stock. What cam should I get?
I don't want to even touch the heads this summer as I won't really have the time for it.
I was looking at a b&m holeshot 2500 tc.
Would just a cam, torque converter, and 3.73's get me into the 13's???

Re: Cheap speed
yea it would... call up comp cams or email them, and they will hook you up with the right cam , just tell them what you have and everything and they will match it up..otherwise look at thirdgen.org and see who's running what and see how the different combo's work...
