I'm guessing it's a choke issue.. i have a quadrajunk <--- hint #1
when I begin to accelerate from my first dead stop, my car stauhls like 7 or 8 times. even on a warm or hot day (for those up north)
i guess im being lazy and wanting a good idea before i crawl under the hood

over all gas milage is good .. still, but untill i get the car going good for about five minutes.. it sputters and hates to wanna do anything i want.

 

Does it hesitate when you accelerate hard from a stop or slow roll? If so most likely its your accelerator pump/s. 40mph up? Most likely your power valve blew. Just as its warming up? Choke related.

 

only while warming. if i dont get idle above 800 it will staul. and as i accelerate to enter highway it hesitates to accelerate. kinda sputters .. but its almost as if it costs for a sec then shakes as it speeds up... once it is warm all is good..

replace choke?
adjust?
buy new carb?
