Car Stalling

I have an 87 Ragtop Z with an 305tpi and only 35000 miles on the car. I am having a problem with the car stalling when I put it in gear. It will idle fine with it in park. I have changed the fuel filter, IAC valve, cleaned the throtle body, Distrubitor cap, rotor button, wires, o2 sensor, pcv valve, Bosch plugs, I have checked all the vacuum lines and cannot find a leak. I have checked the codes and nothing shows up. I am needing all the help that I can get. Thanks so much for the help.

Have you cleaned the TB and IAC housing or did you just replace the IAC motor? I would remove the TB and the IAC housing and clean both with brake cleaner.

Did you reset the IAC like the tech articles mention then set the TPS?

Okay well 800 is a little high for your idle. Mine idles at around 550-600 which is too low i think 650-700 is optimum. I would reset your idle. I dont remember exactly how to do this but im sure someone will chime in soon.

this should bring down your idle by a bit and having too high of an idle could definitly cause it to stall when put in gear. If lowering the idle a bit doesnt help id be willing to bet its something transmission related. Again dont know much about what it could be but someone will help out soon. OR AT LEAST THEY BETTER!!!

Does anyone out there think that it might be the Fuel Pressure Regulator? Again the car only has 35000 miles on it but it is a little old. Please help
