ive got a 92 rs convertible that im restoring, it has a broken deck lid release switch. atleast i think thats what it's called.. its the electronic switch in front of the manual switch that releases the top from the deck. the one you have to push up so you can store the top..anyway. ive searched google and gm parts direct and a few others.. but i cant find this darn switch. any help with this would be fantastic.

Have you tried www.top-downsolutions.com? It looks like he lists the solenoid and the console switch for 3rd gen verts. These are the two parts that release the tonneau cover to pop up for the top to fold down under.

 

I would say Top-downsolutions.com, TPIparts.net, or HouseofCamaro.com.

Those are probably the best places to look for anything 3rd gen

 

i dont have a dash switch.. the release switch i have is in the interior right next to the top release switch
