Hi guys I normally post on LT1 section but im buying a TBI 92 formula and feel like a fish out of water.

Can i convert to a LT1 or even L98/TPI by taking the wiring harness/computer and tpi setup from the junkyard? Or is there more to it? I'd like to know before finishing the deal as I would not buy the car if i couldnt get rid of the tbi setup.

it can be converted. The trans will bolt up to the lt1. There are fuel line adapters for the fuel. do a search for swaps on here and you will find a lot of info. It is not that hard to do and there is a lot of help. Another great place is on the 3rd gen forums. They are some extremely helpful guys on swaps
