its total BS, on a carbed engine i could understand how the helix and the spining air would atomize fuel better, but definat BS on TPI, main reason is caue the fuel and air isnt even being mixed untill its in the combustion chamber....so its pointless

you use the html text....idiot way (my way) is to just do it in a reply post but dont actually send it or anything just setup an http:// link with whatever it uses and then copy and paste it to ur sig.

back on topic yeah i could only see causing turbulence in your plenum to be a bad thing i could only see it costing power because isnt the idea to have smooth air flow through that area?

It seems to work on Mustangs. I'd like to see a dyno sheet from this mod.

Also- could some of you guys shorten your sigs to a maximum 5 lines?

From my experiences, anything in the path of airflow will be counter productive. I must raise my B.S. flag

I don't know about a bunch but it seems like a pile of week old dog poop that is laying out in the summer heat, slowly ripening with the occasional sprinkle of water to keep it juiced up and maggots crawling in and out of the pile with flies galore.

TPI doesn't need that crap

so if this thing creates turbulance then what is the point of the airfoil. looks like it takes away from airfoil load of crap. i paid 5 bucks for my air foil. and that was to much

thats a good point it is the 100% opposite extreme of an air foil...if it were me id spend the money on an air foil

an airfoil isnt pointless. it smooths the air coming into the motor and keeps the air from whirrling around th space between the throttle blades. i noticed better throttle response and i think a lil better gas mileage.

guys don't go and raise the bs flag so fast. it is like a spacer and foil in one. yes the price may be on the high side but i bet anything it works. ok you your not going to see 22hp on a stock tpi motor. there claim is upto 22hp, so that could be on anything.

An online hubcap store is NOT the first place I'd go for performance parts. I'd shop for parts at Wal-Mart before going there.
