brake noise
i have an 87 iroc with four wheel disc brakes.
when i lightly apply the brakes, and a lot of the time even without applying them while going 25 mph or less, the passenger side makes a loud rattling sound, similar to a trumpet. i have taken the brakes apart before and i believe it is because the caliper is too loose, because their is excess play in the rotor, but i have replaced the caliper twice and it still does it. is their any way to adjust the caliper or does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?
thanks

you really should change ALL your break line hoses, mine imploded in both my firebird and z28, they run for 20 bucks a piece at NAPA or car parts, replace them all at the same time just to be safe either way, next check to see if your rotor is warped, and if thats not the case maybe it could just be moisture or air in your breaks.
