Brake-in new motor help

How should i do it any help will help me alot

check out chevyhighperformance.com they did a complete article on engine break in proceedures back in ......Sept. '03 (i think) it gives you all the info you would need.

When I got mine done by LPE, they told me to run straight 30W oil in it for about 1000 miles. I changed it for the first 500 and then at 1000. After that, it was to be whatever I wanted to put in it. I switched to 5W30 and drained it at 2000 just to be sure and then at 3000 and then after that every 3K.

Don't get on it too hard till the rings seat.
You will know the rings have seated when the small puffs of smoke from the exhaust stop.
500-1000 miles is a good break-in period.
