The hooker will outflow the Flowmaster. The sound is all personal preference. And Durability just usually deoends on if you take care of it, and where you live. If you live on the coast it will rust faster than if you lived inland.

i think this just proves its a matter of opinion.....think people should also be careful saying one is better then the other if theyve only had experience with one hopefully we can get some people with an un bias'd view that have had experience with both.

Opinion and ignorance sometimes seem to have blurred lines.

When it comes to sound, the choice is purely opinion. Nobody bud you can decide what one sounds better. When it comes to performance, that one is a lot easier to validate. Flowmaster does not provide the same level of airflow as most other aftermarket exhaust systems. Ever wonder why Flowmaster doesn't publish their cfm flow numbers? Hooker does. Dynomax does. Edelbrock does.

Hooker for 3 reasons:

-Like Jim said, hooker outflows flowmasters.
-Sounds better IMO
-Too many people have flowmaster. Anytime someone hears my car, "You got flows?". Now, I may have flowmaster (I'm not sure) but just because it's nice and throaty, everyone assumes it's flowmasters

It it worth the swap

Would I see anoticable gain if I swapped in the Hooker, or should I spend money elsewhere?

that depends on what exhaust you have now. If you've got a stock one, you should notice a difference in performance. if you've already got an aftermarket one, chances are you'll never feel a difference.
