Cool Best Strut Tower Brace?

We put an Edelbrock on my girlfriend's 87 Firebird (2.8), and its the biggest POS I have ever seen. Granted, I did expect to have to modify it slightly for the 2.8, but as is the thing hit the hood...even with lots of cutting it still hits the hood. A friend of mine has the same strut tower brace on his GTA, and ran into the same problems. If I ever see Vic Edelbrock Jr at a car show I'll beat him with it !
Anyway, I have seen the Jamex (which someone on another board is selling for $30), and the BMR. Anyone have feedback on either one? I'm concerned the BMR might not fit with the 6, and that the Jamex might not be so good because its only a 2 point design. The car in question is getting its engine swapped after the show season, so if we have to wait that's fine.
