Best sounding/preforming exhaust

I want to put a new exhaust on my car this winter and i was just lookin for some info on what everyone thinks would be the best sounding and best performing exhaust for my 86 trans am. It has a 350 tpi with a 327 350hp cam in it and edelbrock headers if that would make a difenece on your opinions. I am lookin to get a 3" cat back...what would everyone reccomend...

If you want to keep it for a long time, I'd go with Borla or for a less pricy option SLP. Either will flow more than you need.

If you can find it, the Pacesetter 3" stainless steel cat back. It is made for the 4th gens but works with the 3rd gens. I got one from a 95 Trans Am and the rear section fit perfect, just needed to get the I-pipe attached to the cat and y-pipe.

and a video so you can hear the car, it's only a 305TPI with a cam,

I like the sound and look of Hooker. Its not stainless, but it seems to hold up nicely. If you want a good sounding stainless set up, Banks makes an exhaust that is pretty cheap, but is a really nice set up.

I would say go with the Hooker Cat back. I have it and I love it, great sound. Had it about a year and it is holding up fine.

Thanks.
I don't think that is the one I had. Maybe they don't make it anymore.

I am also looking to put a new exhaust on my Iroc. I was thinking about going with the GMMG it is pricy but i was told the sound is deep and it is really a refind sound.

Im not a redneck but I really liked the sound from my 40 Series Flowmaster without cats. Really nice sound coming from a 350TPI.
