Friday morning, as I was leaving for school, as I was leavin my yard, the wind blew the gates and they hit my car and scrathed the rear fender. Then after school, I was on my way to a friends and my engine started smoking profusely. And now....Im having problems with my pulley's or my Tranny, and that's why this is in the Tech section.

Ok, the reason it was smoking is b/c my valve cover gasket busted and spewed oil everywhere. And then As I was going to the friends(after putting lots more oil in) the pulley or the Tranny started making funny noises. I have had problems with both before, the pulley's have always made alot of noise, and the transmission has had a few probs.

The noise is like a grinding or like a pulley grinding I guess, I dont know how to describe it, but I start driving, and no noise, then right before it shifts into 2nd, I hear the grinding, then it stops when it hits second, and the same all the way through 4th. What's the deal?
