automatic transmission valve cable 1983 CFI

I need some info on how to disconnect my automatic tranny valve cable on my 1983 CFI camaro located on top of my manifold. Pretty much the only thing holding my intake manifold in I just hope I don't need to go down to the tranny and anything short to scissors, thanks

Why won't you post in the correct forum as instructed/asked? This isn't going to turn out well.
