Auburn or zexel torsen, which is better?

I have a good chance at either gettting a posi unit off a 97 Firbird transam which has the 3.42 gear or getting the zexel torsen from SLP. Which would be the better route and why? The motor I am putting in my car will push over 300+ HP and an automatic.
