anyone use a trans star torque converter?

i got a great deal on a trans star torque converter and jumped on it without finding out anything about them , its a 33-3500 stall , the V6 guys dont know much about torque converters , and 93 was the only 4th gen with a 700R4

i was hoping some of you guys might know about the quality of the converter, or have any info that you might think i need to know.

-Thanks
Aaron

Talking Last trans star I seen was a mid to late 70's IH cabover semi truck....

3,500RPM is a bit to high.

a 2250RPM stall is all you woild need with some 3.73 or 4.10 Gear's.........and the V-6 would move nicely....

Talking there is dude here with a 3.1-V6 running 12.20's...

he ran a 305*duration,655lift cam.
10.2:1 C/R.
He ported the head's.
5spd tranny.
4.56 gear's.
245/60R15 Drag Radail's.

he was pulling 12.20's with it I'm sure the 3.4L-V-6 should be Just as fast if not Faster......with less money.....

damn , a 4.56 gear and he wasnt runnin outta gear by the time he hit the traps.. thats impressive, the final gear should only be a .74 in the 5 spd, thats a truly impressive car if its not on the juice

Nope he wasn't using any Juice with it.

He was proving that V-6 could perform as good as a V-8 with the right mods and gearing.

My AMX was built to prove that TBI can perform and it hit 9.60's without NO2.....nope no NOS......

but the new set up on the AMX should yield 9.20's But i'd be hapy with 9.40's.....

the TBI406 in my 91 GTA should run mid 11's.......

But hell I'd be happy if it only ran some solid 12.40's -12.20's.....
