Anyone ever used dry ice on there intake?
Just curious if anyone has. Anyone ever though of this would it be a bad thing? I know with dry ice you dont have worry about liquid since it evaporates. Any thoughs would b good thanks.

Yeah I've thought of the same thing.
I was thinking about getting a cool can from summit, and running my fuel through it with the dry ice. And like you said no mess!
Probably would work well...

I tried it on my LT1 at the track. I crushed it up and wrapped it in a towel. During runs, I'd put it in the frezzer of my RV. So it lasted all day. Did it help? No, I noticed no increase in ET or MPH.
That's not to say it won't work for you. But If I was gonna ice my intake again I'd sure use dry ice. Much less mess, and lasts way longer.

Unless you're in a heads up race where every bit of HP gained could help you win, I don't think the added expense and trouble is worth it.

Unless you're carburated, that's not going to help anything. The only reason to keep your fuel cool is to prevent vapor lock that happens when the fuel boils in the line. Hot fuel isn't going to make a difference in the motor. On fuel injected cars, the fuel pressure is high enough that the fuel won't boil.
