Post Anybody running fastburn 385

Hello guys, I am trying a new combination in my 87 camaro this year. After many different deals fell through on engines I finally settled for a fastburn 385 crate from GM. I was wondering if anybody has hooked one of these things to a third gen yet and how does it perform? I will be running a SDPC vortech TPI base and 12# procharger but would be more than happy to find anybody that has put one in stock. I have that whole what is this thing going to go like bug going on and would appreciate any input as to steps or alterations I should take before final installation.
Thanks,

I can't say how it'll run in a camaro but I do have a fastburn 385 in my 86 Monte SS with 750 Holley and headers, 3:73 axle, and a 200 trans. The Monte is a little heavier then the camaro and It runs consistent 13.10's/13.20's, I have run a best of 13.00 flat with a total weight of fuel, driver, and car of about 3900 lbs. I would guess the same setup in a IROC would run about 12.80's with a carburator. If you plan on a TPI setup, my best guess would be it would run a little slower since the SDPC TPI base is not very much improved over the stock TPI base. Hope this info helps a little.
