I'm going to order wheels this week, and I'd like to stick a big rear wheel in there. I do have reservations about having the wheels stick out though.
I need a set of 15x9 or 10 and 15x4 that aren't too heavy, are street useable, and look ok on a third gen. I was thinking of aluma stars, but apparently they won't hold up to street use. Then I was thinking about prostar xps when I found some Centerline Telstars. They look about the same, and are much cheaper. Unfortunately these come in 15x8 and 15x10 only.

i have 15x10s with 4 3/4 back spacing for my ET streets, they do stick out a small bit, and i had to curve that lip on my wheel well too *it wanted to cut into the slicks* but its not to bad..

I don't mind rolling the fender lip. Do you have any pictures of your car? I'm planning on getting a 26" tall DR, so your setup is pretty close to what mine will be. Also, these wheels are available with a 5" backspace, which is what I'd run if I go with 15x10.
I'd really like to see some 15x8 with a 4" backspace also.

at the bottom. 15x10 centerline telstars with 5" backspacing with 295/50-15.

they will still stick out a little bit.... that is what I run and i had to roll my fender lip to stop the cutting of my tires.
If you wanna big tire look under the car fully you sould run a 255 50 16in rim.... that will fit under with no rubbing at all...or go with the SLP 17X9 Firehawk wheels...that will work also...
But HEY..... rubb'n is part of racing

Can you host it somewhere else? I can't view that one. What's your backspacing? I think I'm going to need a little more tire than that though

Anyway, form follows function for me, so the wheels will definately be 15". In fact they are already ordered, should be here mid week.
We'll see how these tires look on an 8" wheel. If the sidewalls angle in too much I'll see if anybody makes a slightly narrower drag radial. If that doesn't work I'll put some 26" slicks on these wheels and buy some 17's for street driving.
