also does anyone else know anything about fast chip or have used it?

I used these guys. They Custom burn based on your specific car mods. They use a piggy back method so you dont need to send them your chip.

Fastchip is the premier mail-order tune/chip in the GM market. Ed Wright is very good at what he does. You will not be disappointed.

your taking a gamble having someone program a chip for your specific car over the phone or through the mail. many will get you close but no tuner can be spot on without the actual car. you don't have any real modifications that would need a major tune though so you could probably get away with something the ed could do for you just fine without needing the car.

is it worth the money? not really but if your trying to get that little extra out of the motor without tearing into it then your off to a good start. fastchips/hypertech and the rest of those sorts are definately a waste of money though as if you take the time to read the data on the chips themselves they don't change much from factory.

again.. save your money.
