Thumbs up Alston Subframe Connectors

I had my old Global West Subframe connectors removed because I had a bent cradle and frame and needed ti get it straightened out. After that, I got Alston subframe connectors and they worked well.

I went to Alston's in Antioch, IL and hd them install the bolt in units. What they did was use the bolt in units and welded them in place. They found that the exhaust was barring the way. After a little bit of trying, they told me that I had to go to a muffler shop to get it fixed because it might involve getting a strap which they did not have. Got it done and still was not enough for them so they undid my headers a little and rotated the cat till it worked and worked well. In the process, we noticed that during startup, the cat flange was hitting on my driveshaft loop. By rotating it and what not, they not only were able to install the subframe connectors, they also took away the rattle that had plagued me for the last 2 years.

Was I happy with the product. It cost me around $300 which included the connectors, welding and they even sprayed painted the parts they had to scuff up to get welded. A real professional job, I must say. If I had another f-body for them to do, I would. They have nice products. Highly recommeded them.
