After how many years is a car considered a classic?

how many years exactly Im not sure. I seem to remember hearing 10 once.
now if you go by the dictionary(classic : a work of enduring excellence :historically memorable ) Id say 80's beat the f$%k up pinto=crap, 80's mint condition cherried Camaro/Firebid=classic

It used to be 20yrs=Collectors item, 30yrs Classic. Now I think it's more subjective adding in the elements of rarity and popularity.

I think each state is diff.
Antique motor vehicles include those vehicles over 40 years old displaying Horseless Carriage plates and those vehicles at least 30 years old and older with either collector vehicle license plates or a Washington license plate manufactured for use in the same year as the vehicle manufacture date
