I had an idea of cheaply making/buying an air box to make my ASCD SS hood funtional on my TPI IROC and I wanted opinions on wheter it would/could work. If anyone has seen or has an air box that came on the 83-86 Ford Mustang SVO turbo 4's do you think it would work?
I think it might be too big (Height wise) but this is all speculated on pictures. Another thing is I've heard that what I see on top of the motor isn't even an air box but rather the intercooler, but I don't think so, it looks like an air box. Anyway, any ideas thought or real knowledge would much be appreciated. If this doesn't work then I could always modify the 96-97 SS box but I have to fork over over 300 bucks Canadian and thats alot for an experiment. I could make my own from sheet metal and tubing but I just wanna try this idea first!
