? about splicing into fan sensor for toggle switch

Post ? about splicing into fan sensor for toggle switch

If I splice into the temp. sensor and run a wire to a toggle switch, will the fans still work like factory? I am just wanting this for heavy traffic and the occasional trip to the strip

Try grounding the wire first then run the switch off the grounded wire that should work fine.
