92 Camaro RS help

ok, so I'm new to thirdgens. I am learning though.

I have a problem with my 92 RS TBI. The car starts but will not idle-dies.
I can start it and give it some gas. There's like a "dead spot" when I give it gas. If i keep giving it gas it will stay alive but i always have to be pumping the gas or it dies.

It drives but once the RPMs fall-it dies
when it drives it's very weird. again there is a "dead spot" with the reaction of me giving it gas and the engine revving up, it takes a few seconds.

I checked if the EGR valve was stuck open
I also checked if any hoses were clogged
I cleaned the sensors with sensor cleaner
I cleaned the throttle body unit
I have changed the spark plugs

yesterday after I cleaned the throttle body unit I started it up. It seemed to help but VERY little-the car still died. It backfired twice from the unit, (flames) and once backfired (smoke) also from the unit.

I did a bunch of searches on here as well as thirdgen.org but my knowledge and machanic skills aren't very well with this car.

Can anyone help? I might just start throwing parts at it.

you might want to try some Sea Foam, you can get it at NAPA. You have to put it in through the throttle body or a vacuum line, it will stall the car out and you let it soak for like 10-15 minutes. then you start the car up and it will smoke like all hell, you will have to sit there and massage the throttle to keep it going at first but then it will smooth out.

basically it scrubs out the throttle body, intake, valves, and combustion chambers.

on your car it is on the pass side of the cowl.......just above the pass valve cover...it is black and has a green connector with three wires.
