92 305 to 350 swap
92 305 to 350 swap
OK I just want to get some advice as to whether this is the right way to do things or not. Right now I have a 92 Z28 with the 305 and 5-speed, but I'm wanting to go ahead and make the step up to a 350. Heres a 350 I found for sale online.

I basically want something just like the 350's that came in the automatic Z's from 92, with the TPI setup and all. And something I can play around with and do a few bolt on mods, nothing too crazy. Is this the engine I'm looking for? Will the TPI setup from my car bolt right onto it, or will I have buy a new setup?
If there are any other better options they are more than welcome. Thanks.

Re: 92 305 to 350 swap
Looks good and is for your year. I like it for $1200. It says it is a TPI, So your stuff should bolt right up. You could maybe swith to a Vortec TPI baseplate, $400, and use this engine with your TPI for a little more power. I think this is a pretty mild choice still. http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/120/...e-Assembly.htm
