91 Z28 355 1LE---> BAD brakes :(

Anyone running a electric vacuum pump? Im having braking issues and am thinking its a vacuum issue since with my cam and intake am only pulling 13"-14" warm in park and 10"-11" in gear. Braking just plane and simple sucks. Pedal goes hard after 2-3 pumps and car feels like its coasting to a stop where as before I could lock them up. Already have a vacuum can and it made absolutely no change. 1 way valves are all new and functioning. No vacuum leaks and the car runs very well considering it is running a 100% stock tune. Booster is holding pressure, good fluid flow at bleed screws, no air pockets, upgraded Earls lines, good pad and rotor life. Im trying to borrow an electric pump just to test this theory. Anyonw with any experience or suggestions on how to fix/diag. this issue? Thanks

Kris

You could always get rid of the power brakes.

Another possibility, don't know how feesable, maybe changing to a hydro-boost. Like the 7.4L trucks running off power steering pressure...???
