Say what you want guys. I ordered mine no more than a month ago, and I got a pair for $40.

If you go to order and you have to pay $80/pair...SUCKS TO BE YOU.

I got 'em for $40. The website says $40, still for a pair, in the drop down menu. So...that's unfortunate for any of you.

*shakes head*

Thats cool bro, maybe craming bigger cubes into that engine bay gave you a big head too??? Maybe an error in your favor, but for the rest of us, not so lucky......

come on here people basic math skills

both (add 39.99)
both=2
2(39.99)=79.98 /80 bucks

it also says quite clearly "price is per park lamp"

Don't know if the prices have gone up or down, but I bought mine from gmpartsdirect and paid $24.66/ea and $49.32 total +shipping.
That was a year ago though, but that doesn't make $40 total THAT unthinkable to me...

LOL...yeah...I have a big head.

All I said was I got my pair for $40, regardless of what it says now. How does that mean I have a big head?

But even if the current price is $80, I don't see how "Both $39.99" means they're $80 total. THEY HAVE AN OPTION FOR INDIVIDUAL LENSES, AND THE PRICE SAYS $0. AND THEN IT SAYS "BOTH $39.99" meaning AS A PAIR they're $39.99.

Maybe I'm intrepreting that wrong, or maybe you guys are intrepreting that wrong. Doesn't much matter though.

What it boils down to, is that I got mine for $40...and that's all that matters to me.

Looks like Ken got 'em for around that price too...so it's not unheard of.

You're joking right? According to that logic, and individual lens is FREE! It clearly states, $39.99 for an individual lens, add $39.99 for both lenses. How hard is this?

The $0 is for selecting either passenger side or driver. That's $0 in ADDITION to the clearly stated $39.99 individual price.

It's a poorly designed order form, and it clearly has you confused. But, if you swear you got a pair for only $40, I'll be ordering them shortly

Heh...again, think what you will. It doesn't matter to me. but I'm not confused...as I am the ONLY ONE so far that has actually bought some. The rest of you are merely commenting...which really means nothing.

I got mine for $40. END OF STORY.

If you order and pay $80, that's your problem, not mine.

Maybe if some people were smart, they'd follow Ken's lead and check out GM Parts Direct. But it doesn't seem anyone is...*shrug*

That was a year ago, and GM prices change every 3 months at least, if not more often. Everyone sees the same thing here, except you, I would think that the majority of us understand the website correctly and maybe , just maybe you are the one not getting anything.... If you are 100% positive, order another set, right now, whats 40 bucks big spender with the money to do an LT1 swap??? Come on, prove us wrong, I'm tryin to help the guy who started this post. I'LL BET ALL OF YOUR 8K POSTS ARE SLAMS LIKE THIS ONE HUH, CHEAP WAY TO GET UP THERE, BUT FOR SOMEGUYS ITS THE ONLY WAY........

I just contacted Roy at www.thirdgenresource.com , and sure enough, it's $39.99 for a single lens, and $79.98 for the pair. Maybe that means something.

Thumbs down

stanghunter...you are sad...just pathetic. Lame.

That's unfortunate that they are $40 each Marc. Believe me or not, I received a pair for $40.

The person who originally started the thread has received answers to his questions. No sense in continuing to post to something when all I'm receiving is s*** from people who seem pissed that I got something they want for a cheaper price than it's currently available for.

That's all this is.

What does my engine choice have to do with anything? How does the fact that I may or may not have spent a considerable amount of money on my car have to do with anything? How can it be said that because I have an LT1 that I have a big ego? How does the fact that I purchased a set of lenses at a cheaper rate than current prices have anything to do with my post count? How does the fact that I disagree with someone insinuate that my post count was/is the result of them all being posts "slamming" someone? Such statements are a joke and truely pathetic in nature.

It all sounds to me like that stuff is said due to having a complete lack of content for what to say and lame attempts at trying to maybe...prove me wrong? I don't understand.

There seems to be a lot of **** that you don't understand Eric, simple addition seems to be one of them. but thats cool. i'm sure there will always be someone to listen to your outdated information. If you were not to wrapped up in trying to prove people wrong, you wouldn't have even posted, because EVERYONE here knows you can't get them cheaper than 80 a pair. I have been looking at prices for parts for years, and trust me. But feel free to add a few more posts here, if it'll help you. I doubt anyone really cares what you have to say anyhow.

Ignoring the questions I asked in regards to your pathetic claims. That's par for the course. All over a set of parking light lenses and the fact that you don't believe that I paid what I did. LOL...pathetic.

Ever stop to think that I wouldn't have said anything or that I wouldn't have posted if I didn't actually have first hand knowledge in regards to it?

Talk all the s*** you want...I know you will, and yet you have the nerve to say that I "slam" people. Although it really means nothing to me...regardless of what you think.

Thanks...and have a GREAT day.

Well if they are $40/ea everywhere else, I suggest getting them at gmpartsdirect.com. They are still $24.95/ea there.

This is straight from their website as of today:
GM PART # 5975681
CATEGORY: Parking Turn Signal Lamp
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $41.59
OUR PRICE: $24.95
DESCRIPTION: LAMP ASM-

CATEGORY: Parking Turn Signal Lamp
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $41.59

So the price change in one year is $.29 which isn't much to complain about IMO
