87 v6 camaro, putting in 350 turbo tranny HELP!
i am pretty much a car noob so go easy on me lol. i have an 87 camaro that had an 700r4 tranny in it. while that tranny went so i went online to find a new one, found a guy who gave me a good deal on a 350 turbo, i asked him if it would work in my car he said all chevy trannys just bolt in and you just need the right shaft size and thats the long shaft so i thought i wasnt gonna run into any problems. so i bought it, well now i have ran into a problem.
seems that the tail end of the 350 doesnt have a part that it needs to connect. i was told there is moding kits to make it work and that lots of ppl run old camaros with 350 trannys. so can someone please help me one what to do, point me in a good direction please. or just a way to make it work would be great. thanks alot guys.

This guy must have wanted to make a sale. Half of chevys trannys aren't interchangable. Especially with some of the Borg Warner T-5, Borg Warner had some tie with ford during the 80s. I would go to a salvage yard and find yourself another 700r4. Thats all you really need for the 6 cyl anyway. Plus the 700r4 is so common among salvage yards these days, i surprised you cant get them in the frozen section at Acme.
