87 camaro

My wife has my first car 1987 camaro 2.8. She loves it to dealth and its in great shape. Her father is giving me a nice streetable 350 cammed and 350 trans. I want to start on this project. First question is will 2.8 motor mounts work on the 350. second has anyone used the B & M 350 swap crossmember/torque arm mount? Third question will the stock driveshaft work? I want it to be a high 13 sec car when done- she wants to go racing with me.

the 2.8 mounts will not work.

the b&m th350 tq arm mount worked well for me.

i don't think the stock DS will work, mine did but i think only the '82 v6 ones did. a regular v8 DS will not work either, the th350 is an odd length.

you can buy mounts from any auto parts place......They should be around $50 or less....

The b&m bracket works fine untill you get to the low 11's

Get a new DS made...money well spent...and I had the jegster DS loop...works very well

The motor mounts you just need the parts that bolt to the block...then the pc. that goes on the k-member is pretty cheap, I will check I may have some

I used a set of motor mounts from a '79 camaro. you can probably get some aftermarket ones from summit.

autozone stocks the parts that bolt to the kmember for $15 a piece for motor mounts. The engine should still have its mounts on it
