does anyone know where this fan censor is located? my motor is runnin real hot,about 220-240 at idle,but the fan does work when the a.c is on.has any of you ever had this problem? TEMPERMENTAL FAN

 

As a matter of fact I just got rid of that problem although I have to buy a Duel fan set-up anyway my stock fan wont keep my car cool anymore but anyway back to the problem at hand. It may seem like kind of a rudementary suggestion but I was having all kinds of problems with the relay and whole electric fan set-up in general. The easiest solution which works is to hardwire the fan into the ignition switch. This way whenever the car is on the fan would be on.

 

I had the same problem...the fan was hard wired on when I bought the car, but it was done in such a way that it fried the circuit in the ECM. I replaced the relay to no avail, and wound up hard-wiring it (the right way) anyway. Yay, new ecm for me I also have a bad water pump...you might wanna check that too. Just my .02
