'82 Z28 prices

Alright, Im looking at a '82 Z28 right now

This car has
350 (possibly a 383) the guy bought it at an auction)
AT w/ shift kit
Holley double pumper
Gibson 3" dual exhaust
posi
4 wheel disc
t-tops
96000 kms
iroc rims
rebuilt heads with valve job in july
-pretty well no rust whatso eve
r
The guy wanted $6500 (canadian)
but I talked him down to $5650

There is no stereo, spedometer doesn't work.
Paint is chipping off

It shifts pretty hard into 2nd, and the right window control doesn't work.
overall I liked this car....it has a ****load of *****


could any of you give me an appoximation of what I should be paying for this car (preferably canadian)

Well it might sound like a high price but what you talked him down to was an alright deal... I had to buy my 85 z28 for 5 grand because I just couldn't find anything that ran decently with a v-8... as a result i got my car with over 30 dents... oh wait... if it is an auto i would try to talk him down about a grand more because autos are cheap... 3 grand canadian can get you a nice, stock auto and you would have 2 grand left

If you like it and the engine, drivetrain and body are in excellent condition (and fixing what is wrong falls within your budget) then it is the car for you.

Just keep in mind that there are newer Camaros to be had for that money.

$5000 canadian Dollars........thats like.......$50 american dollars...LOL

Sounds like a decent deal. How is the interior...to me...every car i fix up...the interior is the hardest. Maybe I just suck

Interior isn;t too bad
It's blue velour, the carpeting was pretty good too,

I have till tomorrow to decide
So I would like some more opinions...please?anybody?

I would say that way too much money.I bought my 86 Iroc last year with 67,000 original one owner kilometers and original paint for 8000.It is perfect and not for sale.Keep looking and buy the best you can afford.
