80 series vs 40 series vs aerochamber

alright i nerrowed it down to these three mufflers....i want the loudest out of the 3...i know the 40 series is louder than the 80 series but it doesn't come in the crossflow design like the other 2 do, so i'm wondering if its worth the effort to rig up something so there is still duals coming out of the back with the 40 series....but i've been reading into the hooker aerochamber and i hear its quite a muffler..what do you guys think? i'm kind of leaning towards the aero chamber just to be different, but i'm wondering how loud it is?

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...60&prmenbr=361 where it says custom fit mufflers than for 3rd gen camaro's, that means its a crossflo design right??

Re: 80 series vs 40 series vs aerochamber

My hooker catback w/ aerochamber is pretty quiet at idle. Much quieter than my buddies 80 series. I don't think the sound quality out of the 80 series is better, i like how my aero sounds when i get on it, but if your the kind of person who likes noise, at idle and when you get on it the 80 series is louder.

I have the Hooker cat back as well and I love it. It is loud enough when I get on it and I think the sound is a lot better than flowmasters. If you want super loud get a cut out!!!
