in my 87 I want to put in the 5spd. would I need to change my
drive-shaft and cross-member?

I'm also looking for lumbar support seats for the 87. did anyone ever change there seats to something (other than GTA) seats? Like c5-corvette seats

 

You can reuse your driveshaft and crossmember with no modifications. The only hard part to the T5 swap is mounting the pedals and clutch master cylinder. Everything else is a bolt-in.
