Dude your AMC must sound like NASCAR on the street!! Do you have to rebuild it often?

With the cam in your 91 how "rough" is it around town? I know the back roads gotta call everyday. So often you hear about losing low rpm torque, but no one quantifies it.
I Don't really drive the AMX much .
The S/SAMX was a production race car back in 69' only 52 built.
Not really in tended to be streetable. But it has plate's and light's so I drive it on the street once or twice a year to the hang out on the Avenue.
and to local car show's around here.I have Cruzed it a few lap's but if ya get on it it heat's up to 195*F fast but just driving it easy it only hit's 175*F ...
But after the 87 GTA is up a running and the 91GTA is Done i'll be revamping the S/S AMX with little bit of miles i put on it, it last's about 4 year's then it start's eating oil then . ReRing it ,valve giude's Main's and rod's, oil pump, timing chain.that's all you have to every 3-4 year's.......
But i am going to timing Gear's this next time.
91GTA: the engine was Dyno on stand before they sent it back to me,so that's flywheel HP/TQ witch I know don't mean anything.
NoJrg i don;t think it will pass any emission's test But wisconsin Don't get tested.
Time slip??? for the S/S AMX's 9.63 1/4??? yeah that was back in 2001 but yea I am sure I Can find them.
car ran lot of 9.95's- 9.67's,I prolly Have them slip's too Sir.
I'll find them and post Just to make you happy Ok SIR.
I can Even get the Dnyo Print out that Came with my Engine for the 91GTA as well..........
Don't believe my word's i'll Just show the black&White's.........

Take no offense. Just curious, thats all.

Generally, If it's on the internet... I don't believe it.
But I get proven wrong all the time, so no big deal.

I'll never forget the first time I went to CZ28.com day in Michigan. All the supposedly fast cars were 2 seconds off their times, and up to 8-10 mph off their traps. That woke me up big time.

Just curious, that's all.

oh No I didn't get mad or offened.
I can Prolly find the Time slip's if you Really need them But my memorie suck's so it might take a bit to Fine them.....

My GTA's have time's posted but as i said when i posted tho's
i said the where G-tech pro Time's .

The S/S AMX eime's have been accually tracK ran.

But i do know what you mean I raced a "12second Iroc"
and beat it with my 14 seconded 91GTA Ramair2.

Sadly my 87 GTA only tun's 16.11's acording to G-tech but the 87 GTA is in Rought shape engine wise.
But even that 16 second 87 GTA has beaten a Few
"12sec. Ricer's".
