I want 4:10's cause i just want my car to be explosive at takeoff rather than 1/4 mile times .........Im really just looking to have fun with her/ hell i only drive it once a week...

 

if you don't mind the gas mileage go for it...

 

even with 3.73s it gets annoying because it revs too high for me on the highway...but take off is great

yea, you can complain...its called being a 17 years old with no job ...i got a job now, so i guess i can't complain, all i can say now is MORE POWER!

 

heck if you want explosion off line why not go to a 456 or 488 gear?????

 

Wouldnt my car run out of breath at around 75mph???
Id like to keep it near 120mph as a top speed

 

4.10s with a .7ish overdrive will cruise at about 3,000 RPM @ 80 mph. A bit high for long distance driving, but fine for short highway trips IMO.

I say go for it...I'll be adding 4.10's to mine this spring, as soon as I can afford to have the rear built.
