Re: 3rd gen ???'s

Depending upon options and year, the a 3rd gen Camaro could range from 3000-3500lbs. My coworker has a V6 equipped Sport Coupe with no options. Full tank of gas the car weighs in at 3017 lbs. Mine weighed 3210 lbs stock, and now weighs just under 3300. A fully loaded later model 90-92 could reach 3400-3500 lbs.

Generally speaking, an average V8 3rd gen Camaro weighs about 100-150 lbs less than a similarly equipped V8 4th gen Camaro.

Plus, if you do any work at all on the car, the third gen is much easier to get to sides and rear of the engine. That EGR valve on the rear, and even the spark plugs are near impossible to get to on the fourth gen.
