Its a direct swap. You might have to fab up the ebrake cables to make em match and maybe something with the brake lines. I think you're wheels might actually stick out a little further now since they have different offset. Thats about all I can think of... Check out the message board at thirdgen.org they have alot more info there

It'll bolt up fine, it should only take a morning with an impact wrench and an extra set of hands. Expect everything to be rusted. I went ahead and bought new 3rd rear disc brake lines then my uncle and I just bent them a little to fit the 4th gen brakes. That worked well. Im still running the stock proportioning valve though, but I didnt feel the car braking oddly. Ill change to the wilwood adj. one this year just because I like to waste money though. If you figure out the ebrake cables let me know though. My stock rims were out about 2" more on each side, it didnt look bad but it looked kinda goofy so I bought some 10 spoke ss rims from a 01 SS and they sit where the old ones used to due to the different offset, no spacers required.

I would have to agree. I would think that if you had 4th gen wheels in mind for your ride, then go for it, easiest way to go. but you will still need spacers for the fronts or else they will rub like there is no tomorrow. Personally I don't like the look of 4th gen wheels on a 3rd gen. The idea is cool, but when you look at it and you have like the wheels sticking out 2" past the hub, it looks funny With the 4th gen rear you wouldn;t have that problem in the back, just in front, and with the little 10.5" rotors we have, bigger wheels make the brakes look so puny. Just my .02 cents. I had thought about getting one too, but then I found a nice low miles 9bolt and went with that
