3970010, What block do I have??
I have a 350 4 bolt main that being turned into a 383 I was just wonderin if I could find more stuff out about this Block, the number off the back Lh side is 3970010, i don`t know the nuber up front since the block was 0 decked.

Since you don't have the engine code because the block has been decked, the simplest answer is;
4" bore SBC block. Not always, but usually a high nickle block. Can be 2 or 4 bolt mains. One of the most popular castings for building 302, 327, 350 or 383 engines which all use the basic 4" bore.
