305 tbi to 350 carb swap

hey i bought a carbed chev 350 to put in a 88 camaro that originally came with a 305 tbi and i want to know what hasto be done for a fuel pump can i keep the stock fuel pump, or is tha to many psi for a carbed motor can i put a pressure regulator on the stock system? any information on this would be much appriceated and it will help get the ball rolling thx for the input

Yes, you can keep using the stock in-tank EFI fuel pump. You need a Mallory 3-port (return-style) regulator to drop fuel pressure down to a carb-friendly ~6PSI. Did it myself when putting a carbureted 350 into my 92 RS that had the same original motor as your car.

hey thanks for the input i just have one more question what did u do for the electrical what did u use and what did u get rid of?
