3.73 4.11 ??? t5 t56 ?? which one?

I have a 1990 camaro with a 350 tpi with headers 3" pipes and a mild cam. It has a 700R trans and a 2.73 rear, The car runs 15.0 @ 92 mph, I feel the car isn't getting the power that the motor holds. I want to get a different rear and tranny, I am not sure what type of rear to go with. a 3.73 or 4.11 or any other one, and a 9 bolt 10 bolt or a 12 bolt posi? and i also want to get a manual trans, t56, t5?I want something that can hold alot of horsepower since i am planning to do more mods, thanks alot !!!

Transmission: Hands down T56. Bulletproof trans. Do a search and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Rear: 9 bolt. Stronger than a 10-bolt, can be found in F-bodies and gotten pretty cheaply. If you have money get a 12 bolt but if you dont then keep dreaming...

Gear: For a T56, 4.10's are the perfect gear. I'm going w/ 3.73's because I'm concerned about gas mileage.

I think there's 3.90? I'm not sure. To go to a posi, no. You can just get a limited slip unit like the one for $100 from SLP and pop it in. But if you need strength (i.e. 9 or 12 bolt) then the whole rear will obviously have to be replaced.

T56's are far from bulletproof, but yes they are much stronger than a T5.
