all L98s had the 2 bolt mains. if its on another motor, you could get the casting # and check out www.mortec.com, or you could pull the oil pan

If I remember correctly you cant just pull the pan on our cars. I think the frames in the way.
Most casting numbers will just say two or four.
If you get teh engine suffix it may reveal a little more.
Its really not a huge deal either way unless you are spinning 7000+ RPMs
