Supercharger. It's emissions legal and will add lots of power.

Your right, the HSR isn't emmisions legal. You will benifit most from a complete exhaust package, this should include headers and a cat-back system. You will love the sound too over stock.

I think i am going to get the HSR anyways, when i have to get the car smogged in a year and 9 months i will just change it back to stock, i think that the HSR will give me some good performance for a little bit of $$$. Changing the whole exaust system is to costly....

Ok, so you add a great flowing big intake, but your cam is too small, your exhaust is too small, your stall converter is too small, and your rear end gears are too tall. That great intake will become a dog on your engine because your comination is out of whack.

The best place to start on thirdgens is with the exhaust. Then add a set of subframe connectors.

so you suggest i dont get the intake because it won't work properly, pretty sure they designed it to work with the stock sys. what do you think?

I'm only saying the intake is not the first thing you should swap, the exhaust is.

You get what you pay for. Sure, you could use Edelbrock TES but they aren't as good as say SLP or Accel Tri-Ys which are no longer made. I paid a bunch for the Accels but they lasted very well and were ceremic coated. Believe me, you cannot afford cheap junk. I bought TFS heads because they were cheaper than AFRs. They were much more expensive in the end when I had to replace my LPE 383 SB which was screwed up when the piston hit the valve and the fragments hosed up cylinder #4. The few hundred I saved did not even cover the repair costs or the downtime.

Headers for you I would recommend the Hooker 2055's, a CarSound catalytic converter, and any true 3" cat-back exhaust and muffler you like.

Once you do that, then I'll let you swap on the Holley Stealth Ram.

Is it 5 speed? Dual or single cat?

They all got the same (good cam) for that year, regaurdless of transmssion.

Unless you want it to be super fast--stick with the stock cam for now.
